Project Description

Dr. Janice Rockefeller’s new medical practice will serve the community of Little River County, Arkansas. Opening her practice in the old school building in Winthrop, Dr. Rockefeller hopes to EVOKE a sense of community and comfort while maintaining a professional and contemporary aesthetic. The office will feature muted and calming colors, contemporary furnishings, and trim details throughout that match with the colonial revival style of the building. Decorations will be kept to a minimum so as not to clutter the space and surfaces will feature clean lines.

This design concept will connect the modern practice with the rural community by tying together old and new styles. The small space will provide the clients with a sense of familiarity that welcomes them in and connects to the community. the layout of the office ensures that patients of all abilities are equally accomadated and receive the same care. Modern instruments and furnishings conveys to the clients that the medical practice is operating with up to date technologies to give the best care without overwhelming clients with too much modernization.
